During their sponsorship, Newbery, who will provide equipment for the Foundation to distribute to their network of cricket clubs and schools across Sussex. Young people playing in the junior leagues or involved in the Foundation’s community initiatives will also be entitled to discounted equipment from Newbery, through the Heritage Card scheme which sees club members receive 15% off purchases and Newbery donating 5% of purchases back to clubs.

“This will be the eighth season that we have supplied balls for junior cricket in Sussex and we are looking forward to working even more closely with the Sussex Foundation to help ensure that the game thrives locally, particularly given our existing and historical links with the county.”
Entries into all this summer’s SCF junior competitions for boys & girls have increased with fixtures being released last week off the back of the Government announcement confirming the return of recreational sport. A new-look website using the ECB Play Cricket system has been created to assist with the administration of each league and competition. The site will go live in the coming days.
